Three-day itinerary:
DAY 1 – BORDEAUX CITY
Discover the beautiful city of Bordeaux and our new wine museum, the “Cité du Vin”.
10 AM – Walk around the city of Bordeaux with your local guide and discover the secrets of our wonderful town. Choose the theme of your tour: historical, culinary, “like a local”… or ask us for a customized tour!
1 PM – Lunch at a local restaurant downtown Bordeaux or at the “7”, the restaurant of Cité du Vin, our amazing new interactive wine museum…
3 PM – Visit the “Cité du Vin”.
6 PM – Arrive back at your hotel.
DAY 2 – SAINT EMILION
10 AM – Hotel pickup (or another location in Bordeaux).
11 AM – Visit a top winery in Saint Emilion (family-owned estate) and taste its wines.
12:30 PM – Lunch in the town of Saint Emilion or on a terrace at a winery among the vines.
3 PM – Visit a top winery in Pomerol and taste the wines of the estate. Discover the town of Saint Emilion and drive through gorgeous wineries of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol… Picture time!
5 PM – Complimentary wine tasting in a local wine store in the heart of the town of Saint Emilion.
OR
5 PM – Visit another winery in Saint Emilion and taste its wines.
6/6:30 PM – Arrive at your hotel in Bordeaux.
DAY 3 – ARCACHON
9:30 AM – Pick up at your hotel in Bordeaux (or another location).
11 AM – Discover the Dune du Pyla, the largest sand dune in Europe and climb it!
1 PM – Lunch at a charming local restaurant; discover the local seafood, including some wonderful oysters…
OR
1 PM – Lunch at an oyster farmer’s cabin (fresh oysters and other seafood + dry white wine….yum!) also, the oyster farmer will explain everything about his/her job.
Afternoon – During the afternoon, you have a few options:
- Enjoy the seaside and relax on a sandy beach…
- Go for 2h on a private boat ride on a “pinasse”, a typical local boat (starting at 430€/boat) **
- Stroll on a boat during 1h30 all around the “bird island” (30€/guest)
6:30 PM – Arrive at your hotel in Bordeaux.
** 2-hour tour on a traditional “pinasse”, typical boat from the Bay of Arcachon: Navigate between the oyster parks in small channels, along traditional villages and small beaches of the Peninsula… You will have the opportunity to discover Birds’ Island and its huts/cabins built on stilts (the “cabanes tchanquées”), the Cape Ferret Peninsula small fishing villages and beaches, the Pilat Dune, the Arguin oyster Bank, the very heart of the Bay and the Leyre river delta, the picturesque Oyster Farming Ports…
Taste some delicious fresh oysters paired with a local dry white wine (extra fee).

Each visit usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours and includes a presentation of the vineyard, the history of the chateau, a guided tour of the vat room and cellars. Your tour finishes with a tasting of the wine(s) of the estate.
