Saint-Émilion is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. Just 50 to 60 minutes from Bordeaux, the landscape shifts into gentle limestone hills, family-owned vineyards, and a village that feels timeless.
Your day begins with a private drive through the countryside before visiting a selection of Grand Cru Classé estates and lesser-known gems. Depending on the experience you choose, this can mean three shorter visits for variety, two longer in-depth tours, or a blend of estate visits and a curated wine tasting in the village. Each stop offers a relaxed, behind-the-scenes look at the cellars and vineyards while you learn how Merlot and Cabernet Franc thrive on the region’s limestone soils.
We also take time to explore the medieval village of Saint-Émilion itself, its narrow cobblestone streets, sweeping viewpoints over the vineyards, and the charm that makes it a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It’s a full, beautifully paced day that blends great wine, history, and the pleasure of discovering one of Bordeaux’s most iconic regions with a local expert by your side.

Visit a premium winery in Saint Emilion (family-owned estate) and taste the wines of the estate.
12:30 PM – LUNCH
Lunch in the town of Saint Emilion or on a terrace at a winery among the vines.
3 PM – VISIT A GRAND WINE CELLAR IN POMEROL OR SAINT EMILION
Visit a premium winery in Pomerol and taste the wines of the estate.
4 PM – VISIT THE MEDIEVAL TOWN
Discover the town of Saint Emilion and drive through some top wineries of Saint-Emilion and Pomerol… Picture time!
5 PM – ANOTHER TASTING/VISIT OF A « GRAND CRU CLASSÉ » ESTATE
Guided wine tasting in a local wine store in the heart of the town of Saint Emilion OR visit another winery in Saint Emilion and taste the wines of the estate.
6/6:30 PM – BORDEAUX
Arrive back at your hotel.

Each visit usually lasts between 1 and 2 hours and includes a presentation of the vineyard, the history of the chateau, a guided tour of the vat room and cellars. Your tour finishes with a tasting of the wine(s) of the estate.
