A family story

I was born and bred in the Bordeaux region, just minutes from the magnificent vineyards of Saint Emilion; I am as much a product of the area’s unique terroir as the local wines.

My grandfather spent his entire life in the wine and food business, my brother manages a chateau, and my cousin is a wine merchant. After living in the U.S. and Central America for over a decade and working for gourmet food businesses, like Les Trois Petits Cochons (The Three Little Pigs); I am thrilled to have returned to my roots, and to the beauty and grace of Bordeaux.

Bordeaux with Elodie gives me the opportunity to share my passion for the region with wine and culinary enthusiasts from around the world.

Laura

Born and raised in Pessac Leognan, one of the oldest appellations in the Bordeaux region, Laura has been immersed in the world of wine since childhood.

For several years Laura has worked in prestigious vineyards in Bordeaux, learning everything there is to know about winemaking and wine tourism.

Since 2015, Laura has been Elodie’s right hand. Both at the office and in the vineyards, Laura loves being surrounded by travellers, good wine, and good food!

With her great personality, deep knowledge, passion, and commitment – trust us, you won’t want your tour to end! 😉

Émilie

Our wonderful Emilie has been a part of the dreamteam since 2017 and absolutely loves her job.

Emilie spent years in Paris, working in the world of luxury, hospitality and tourism – including eight years as a commercial agent for Air France. She left still loving hospitality but not the subject, and her life changed when she decided to reunite with one of her first loves in Bordeaux: red wine!

Emilie will show you the very best of Bordeaux with endless knowledge, love, passion and emotion.

Marina

Marina was born around Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy, and grew up surrounded by vineyards.

She knew her future lay in Bordeaux, so she completed a Master’s Degree in wine marketing and interned in a winery in Saint-Emilion: the love story had begun!

After working at several prestigious wineries throughout the Bordeaux appellations – Sauternes, Pomerol, etc., –  she met Elodie, and the rest is history! She is now living the dream, and can’t wait to share it with you, our lovely guests. Cheers!

Jeremy

The first man to make it to the Dreamteam!

He is exceptional, as reaffirmed by our guests lucky enough to experience his guides. 

​Jeremy was born to an English mother and a French father, who raised him here in Bordeaux. Loyal to the region,  he has worked in some of the most exclusive estates from a young age, developing a strong passion for winemaking.

Jeremy has vast knowledge and loves meeting fellow wine lovers, sharing his passion for great foods and wines and, crucially, having fun!

Emily

Emily was born in a wine région from the South West of France .
She spent her childhood travelling with her grandmother; this gave her the curiosity and the open mind to be a tour guide.

She started her career in Paris giving tours to the Louvre and Versailles, sharing her love for history and architecture.
Seven years ago, she decided to pack up and move to Bordeaux so that she could  combine her passion of wine and heritage.
Emily will make you fall in love with French culture.

Safia

Safia grew up in the Libournais, an area famous for the beautiful wines of Saint Emilion and Pomerol.

Safia always loved traveling and knew she wanted to work in the industry. She met Elodie many years ago, and in 2020 they decided to start working together… But then covid happened! 2 years on, Safia was finally able to join the BWE dream team! She’s been a happy member of the company since April 2022: working from the office, planning visits for our guests, and helping with administrative and accounting tasks.

Suzanne

Suzanne joined BWE as a communications intern in October 2023 and has been the creative force behind our social media and online content ever since. From posts and stories to articles and updates, she keeps our digital presence fresh and engaging.

Currently pursuing her master’s degree in communications management, she’ll be graduating next year—watch this space!

Solène

As a fervent language lover and tireless globetrotter, Solène feels at home wherever she is. She grew up in the South West of France, between the forest, the mountains and the ocean, but quickly started traveling in all parts of the world to learn new cultures and languages.  Living in Spain and South Korea made her fall in love with the gastronomy and wine culture, and she moved to Bordeaux to work as a wine tour guide in prestigious wineries in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. She left the region again, to work on a cruise ship for half a year, and she is now back in Bordeaux, more excited than ever, to make you discover this beautiful region, and its gastronomy!

Nine

Born in Arcachon and raised on the idyllic island of Saint Barthélemy, Nine has always been drawn to beauty, culture, and the art of hospitality. After five years studying wine and luxury hospitality in Bordeaux, she joined Bordeaux with Elodie to share her passion for the region’s exceptional wines and timeless charm. With warmth, curiosity, and attention to detail, Nine creates welcoming, high-end experiences that capture the essence of Bordeaux — through its vineyards, heritage, and way of life..

Vincent

Born in the Loire Valley near Vouvray and Chinon, I grew up surrounded by vineyards, food, and French heritage—which quickly sparked my love for wine and gastronomy. At 20, I moved to Bordeaux to study wine, and it was love at first sight with the region and its incredible culture.

My passion for wine also took me to Mendoza, Argentina, where I spent a year exploring the world of Malbec. I eventually returned to Bordeaux and joined the team at a beautiful Margaux estate, where I led wine tourism experiences. When the pandemic paused visits, I was lucky to join the technical team in the cellar for the 2020 vintage—an unforgettable hands-on harvest.

A food and travel enthusiast, I love swapping stories (and recipes!) with guests. For the past three years, I’ve been back on the road, sharing Bordeaux’s finest estates and hidden gems with travelers from around the world.
