Saint Émilion Grand Cru
Château Panet was the first property owned by the Carles family in 1880, and it is also the largest one. Located on a great terroir, Château Panet is one of the neighbourg of Château Haut Sarpe (grand cru classé of Saint Emilion). This special cuvée from Château Panet is entirely sulfite free. Grape varieties: 75% Merlot & 25% Cabernet Franc Vinification: Traditional wine making in concrete tanks. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, with 20% new barrels and 80% of barrels that are only 1 year old, for a period of 12 months. Food & wine pairing: Lamb Tajine, nice pizza or pasta. Ideal temperature: 58/61°F When should I drink it? Between now & 2025 – Enjoy now or cellar for just a few more years. No need for decanting. This deep red wine offers a very elegant attack, a supple texture, with fresh dried fruits and a hint of toasted aromas.
